Capitol Security needed the help of Bismarck police Sunday night after a female was observed on camera walking around the Governor’s residence.
The BPD responded and the female left the scene around 9:45 p.m. A few minutes later the woman reappeared when the gates were opened for a vehicle to enter the grounds. Police and the North Dakota Highway Patrol were called for assistance.
The NDHP says multiple officers were required to take the female into custody. Authorities identified the woman as 32 year old Dakota Bee of Bismarck. Bee was arrested for resisting arrest…trespassing…and disorderly conduct. At no time did she gain entrance into the home.
The Governor and First Lady we’re home at the time of the incident
