ND S & P’s show gains

North Dakota taxable sales and purchases climbed 9.2% in 2021 to $20.3 billion dollars.
Tax Commissioner Brian Kroshus says the numbers show the state is returning to pre-pandemic numbers. Of the 15 major industry sectors 13 reported increases over 2020 numbers.

Among the state’s largest cities Fargo recorded an 18.2% increase…
Grand Forks was up 11.1%….
Bismarck’s S & P’s climbed 9.9%…
And Minot registered a 9.3% increase….
