Grand Forks police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a single vehicle crash this afternoon.
Authorities located a pickup on its roof along the 800 block of North Washington shortly before 4:30 p.m. A statement by the GFPD says the driver lost control…hit a light pole…and flipped.
A witness told officers two vehicles were racing north bound on Washington prior to the crash. Both occupants in the pickup were checked for injuries. No names have been released.
