Gas prices hold steady or fall slightly

The national average retail price of regular-grade gasoline dropped 3 cents in the past two weeks to $4.24 a gallon. According to the Lundberg Survey the total decline over six weeks now totals 19 cents a gallon. That’s still $1.27 above the year-ago point. Mid-grade gasoline averaged $4.57 a gallon and premium averaged $4.83.
The latest Triple-A Fuel Survey puts the North Dakota average at $3.90. That compares to $2.77 a year ago. Minnesota’s average is $3.88.
