A high speed chase in Polk County (MN) on Sunday resulted in the arrest of an unidentified driver.

The Polk County Sheriff’s office says deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on Highway 75 shortly after 4:00 p.m. The driver refused to pull over and took off at speeds up to 100 mph on various roads southwest of Angus (MN).

The driver eventually stopped and fled on foot. After a two-and-a-half hour search law enforcement located the individual about two miles from the initial traffic stop. The driver was placed under arrest on fleeing and two outstanding warrants.

Assisting agencies included the Marshall County S-O…Minnesota DNR…and Minnesota State Patrol.
