One person is dead following an apartment fire in south Fargo Sunday night.
The Fargo Fire Department responded to the blaze around 6:30 p.m. Authorities say the building was evacuated and the fire was quickly extinguished. The victim was found in a lower-level apartment. No names have been released. There were no other injuries in the fire.
The department responded with four engines…one truck…and two battalion chiefs. The cause is under investigation.
