Four finalists remain in the search for the next president at the North Dakota State College of Science.

The four, chosen by a search committee, will interview on campus between Feb. 28th and March 8th.

Two of the finalists are from Minnesota: Jeanine Gangeness, associate VP for academic affairs and dean of the school of graduate studies at Winona State University…and Dimitria Harding, dean of health sciences and dean of career and technical education at the Faribault campus of South Central College.

The other finalists are Rod Flanigan, dean of business and technology at Cochise College in Arizona… and Carmen Simone, who resigned last June after 18 months as president of Western Nebraska Community College.

After interviews, the search committee will recommend an unranked list of finalists to the State Board of Higher Education, which will conduct final interviews in Wahpeton on March 31, followed by the announcement of a new president.

The new president is expected to assume office by July.

John Richman retired as president last December. Dr. Harvey Link is serving as interim president.
