
The active case count for COVID-19 continues to fall across North Dakota. Since the record tally of 12,051 back on January 21st the figure has dropped by over 79-hundred across the state.
Michael Dulitz of the Grand Forks Health Department says they’ve noticed a similar trend locally with new cases falling off the past week or so. “It’ a slow decline in cases…it’s not a cliff.”
There were 102 new positive hits for Grand Forks on Wednesday’s dashboard. The local active case count now stands at 468.
Grand Forks has been in the “orange” or high risk category for COVID-19 for 159 consecutive days.
