By Pat Sweeney Jan 17, 2022 | 2:41 PM

Just four weeks after being appointed North Dakota’s Tax Commissioner, Brian Kroshus officially announced today (Mon) that he will run for the office in this year’s election.

Gov. Burgum appointed Kroshus to serve the remaining year of the unexpired four-year term of Ryan Rauschenberger, who resigned to focus on recovering from alcohol problems.

Kroshus has served on the Public Service Commission since 2017.

Kroshus is a Republican and a native of Fargo.
