Street projects…lighting…and sidewalks dominated much of the discussion at last night’s (Monday) Grand Forks council meeting.
Members O-K’d plans and specs on various 2022 mill and overlay projects including stretches of 59th Street…South 19th…South 23rd…Red Dot Place…and portions of the Alerus Center parking lot.
The city has also inked an engineering agreement with the North Dakota D-O-T for the rehab of 32nd Avenue South from I-29 to Washington Street. City Engineer Al Grasser says the timing of that project is still a work in progress but is targeted for 2025.
Project bids on the mill and overlay work will be reviewed by the council in February.
