A man struck by a car in Fargo earlier this week has been identified as 45-year-old Robert Powers of Minot.
The Highway Patrol says Powers was hit around 6:45 p.m. on Monday in a crosswalk and taken to Sanford Hospital with life-threatening injuries. No further information has been released about his condition,
The Highway Patrol says they received numerous tips from the public after they released a photo of a distinctive tattoo of Powers. He was eventually identified by his fingerprints through an FBI database.
