A large police presence at a south Grand Forks apartment building last night. Authorities responded to the 2500 block of 13th Avenue South after reports came in of multiple gunshots. In addition to the six to eight squad cars on the scene…a SWAT team vehicle…Altru ambulance and a Grand Forks Fire Department engine were on standby. There were no immediate reports of any injuries. The initial call came in shortly before 8:30 p.m. Authorities say the incident remains under investigation but at this point the report of shots fired is unfounded.
