
Supporters of a Career Impact Academy for Grand Forks say they have secured nearly $6.7 million dollars towards a $10 million dollar goal. A total of 34 organizations have made formal or verbal funding commitments.
Once operational, the Career Impact Academy will offer career programming to both high school and adult learners.
Grand Forks EDC President Keith Lund says supporters continue to be inspired by the level of industry support for the project. The deadline to apply for the state matching funding is December 1st.
