The potential sale of the Corporate Center II building in downtown Grand Forks will be reviewed by both the Growth Fund and Jobs Development Authority tonight (Monday).
Written bids on the potential sale were due September 8th with oral bids accepted September 10th. A top bid submitted by Grimsley Consulting totaled $2,505,000 dollars. The sale attracted interest from seven parties with the low bid at $598,000.
The JDA – meeting as the city council – agreed to put Corporate Center II up for sale in July. Based on the high bid the purchase price is approximately 85% of the appraised value.
There were no plans identified in the actual bid for the building itself.
