The East Grand Forks council gave final approval last night (Tuesday) to an ordinance that gives the city greater enforcement ability in the Greenway.
The law sets hours of operation from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. It also bans motorized vehicles outside designated areas.
Violating the ordinance is a misdemeanor offense subject to a fine of $1,000 dollars or 90 days in jail.
The measure was adopted on a 5-1 vote.
