Bail set for NW MN man charged in the death of his wife

Bail has been set at $10,000,000 for an Oklee (MN) man wanted in connection with the July 9th murder of his wife.

Forty-four-year-old Eric Reinbold was arrested without incident August 4th about four miles northeast of Oklee. Authorities converged on the area…and found Reinbold hiding in the woods near an abandoned homestead.

Reinbold is accused in the stabbing death of his wife Lissette. During a court appearance in Pennington County District Court  bail was also set at $5,000,000 with conditions.

Reinbold was also being sought by U-S Marshals for violating terms of his release from prison.

A federal jury in in 2018 found Reinbold guilty of possessing pipe bombs at his cabin near Oklee.  Court records show a scheduling conference is set for September 9th.
