The search for a pair of burglary suspects north of Fargo has ended.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Department says 27-year old Joshua Mommsen and 51-year old Joellen Hanson were apprehended around 5:30 p.m. on Monday hiding in a cornfield.
Authorities on Monday set up a perimeter around the cornfield near Argusville after a burglary attempt at a nearby residence. The pair were spotted by relatives of the property. The suspects later rammed a vehicle while attempting to flee the scene. The vehicle ended up in the ditch and the two individuals ran into the cornfield.
This case remains under investigation.
