Altru and the Grand Forks School Board have inked a partnership agreement that will net the district $750,000 over a ten year span.
Superintendent Terry Brenner says the collaborative deal helps secure some non-traditional revenues during tough budget times. “It speaks to $20,000 dollars a year to both high schools for equipment…the contribution of athletic trainers at both high schools and middle schools…and it also includes a $35,000 dollar contribution to the remodeling and refurbishment of the Cushman track and field.”
In exchange Altru will have an exclusive “Health Care Presence” for advertising and signage at all GFPS high school and middle school campuses.
