Two Fargo men were arrested today (Wed) after the Red River Valley SWAT team assisted a police narcotics unit in a drug investigation.
Police say, at around 7 AM, authorities served a search warrant at a residence in Fargo’s Island Park neighborhood.
The search produced a stolen firearm and drug paraphernalia.
Twenty-seven-year-old Bradley Moderow and 38-year-old Michael Mead Junior were arrested for probation violation.
Police say the SWAT team was used, based on risk factors associated with the suspects — not the evidence sought in the warrant.
During the service of the warrant, several flash sound devices were used as a distraction so the SWAT Team could move safely without detection.
Police say the investigation may lead to additional arrests or charges.
