The next phase in the reconstruction of Columbia Road at University Avenue takes place today.
Traffic will be shifting to the north lanes as crews begin working on the south bound lanes. Traffic on Columbia will continue to be one lane in each direction from the overpass to north of University Avenue.
With the switch traffic on University Avenue will not be able to travel through the intersection. Traffic on Columbia Road will not be able to turn and head west of University Avenue.
The $6.5 million dollar project is expected to be finished by early September.
