A trailer loaded with hay bales caught fire along I-29 near Buxton (ND) on Sunday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says the driver of a pickup was heading south around 2:30 p.m. when he noticed a wheel come off the vehicle and pulled to the side of the road. The axle was hot and caught the underside of the trailer on fire which quickly spread to the hale bales and ditch grass.
Authorities say 41-year old Ryan Siebel of Garfield (MN) was able to unhitch the pickup before it caught fire. There were no injuries.
