Grand Forks health officials continue to stage mobile shot clinics looking for a few good arms to jab with COVID vaccine. Health Director Debbie Swanson admits testing and case numbers are both down as we enter “COVID recovery.“
The North Dakota Health Department reported just two new cases of coronavirus today (Monday) for a daily positivity rate of .69%. There were no new cases out of Grand Forks County.
Local vaccination rates are averaging 50 to 150 doses per day. Swanson anticipates those numbers to climb as we head towards fall and the start of another school year.
Grand Forks County has a nearly 52% vaccinate rate among the eligible population of 12 and up.
