
An early morning shooting in Grand Forks remains under investigation.
Police were called to the parking lot of the Quality Inn around 1:45 a.m. on reports of a male with a gunshot wound. When officers arrived at 3251 30th Ave South they found a victim that had been shot. Authorities say the lone male had a gunshot wound to the torso. No names have been released. The individual was transported by paramedics to Altru Hospital. A condition report is not available at this time.
It appears the victim and the suspect are known to each other and there is no immediate danger to the public. Grand Forks Fire Department and Altru Paramedics assisted on scene. UAS was called in to assist in the investigation.
