A lightning strike in is being blamed for a few anxious moments in Fertile (MN) last night (Monday). The Polk County Sheriff’s Department received a call of a structure fire just after 11:30 p.m. The Fertile Fire Department responded and determined lightning hit a pole in the backyard of a home causing a small lawn fire. The lightening also traveled via a satellite T-V cable where it damaged a series of electronics inside the home. There were no injuries.
