The Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library Foundation is evaluating the nearly 3,000 acres burned as a result of wildfires in Billings County this week.
Ken Vein of Grand Forks is director of design and construction for the Library. Vien is on site in Medora to assess impact to the land intended as the future home of the Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library. The design architect selected for the project in September of 2020, North Dakota-based Architect of Record JLG, civil engineers and ecologists are expected to join the effort in the days and weeks ahead.
The T.R. Library team has been working with the U.S. Forest Service on the process of land acquisition. The preferred site land was burned in the Medora wildfire.
