(KNOX) – The Fargo Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire in a South Fargo neighborhood last Friday after other residents said they heard a loud explosion.
Emergency personnel were sent to a home at 2311 59th Avenue South. Other residents were in the neighborhood when they say they heard a loud explosion and felt a violent shake. They also say they saw smoke and flames coming from a garage when they went to see the fire.
Fargo Fire Chief Gary Lorenz says that responding crews found no physical evidence at the scene to show that an explosion happened.
Firefighters put out the fire in the garage, and it did not spread to the rest of the home.
No injuries for anyone, either residents, neighbors or fire crew were reported at the scene.
The fire continues to be investigated.
