(KNOX) –Parents who have children that are in fifth grade and younger in East Grand Forks are being reminded that their child needs to have an adult with them at all extracurricular events.
A reminder was sent out by the East Grand Forks School District, where it said there were a number of “behavior issues involving elementary and middle school students” at a recent football game.
The reminder also says that “attending extracurricular events is a privilege, not a right” and that “students involved in behavioral issues may be asked to leave and could lose the privilege of attending future events.”
All East Grand Forks students are encouraged to attend these events, and students are allowed to go for free.
