Demuth Calls For End To Iran War

(KNOX) –Minnesota House Speaker and Republican Gubernatorial Nominee Lisa Demuth held a press conference Thursday and took various questions from reporters. She was asked about her thoughts on the war in Iran and high gas prices. Demuth has been portrayed by the DFL as a staunch ally of President Donald Trump, but she says the war needs to end.

Demuth has been outlining her plan to make life more affordable for Minnesotans, and she says expenses are high in the state because of decisions that have been made by Democratic leadership before the war.

Demuth’s opponent, DFL Gubernatorial Nominee and U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar, has been against the war from the start and has consistently criticized it. The Governor’s election this year is on November 3rd, and early voting has already started.
