(KNOX/Valley News Live) – Three vehicles were damaged and three people were hurt when a driver illegally used a median crossover near Thompson.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a Toyota Camry was slow in turning around at a median crossover near Interstate 29 mile marker 136. A GMC Acadia hit the Camry, veered off and then collided with a Honda Odyssey.
Seven total people were involved in the crash, and a dog that was in one of the vehicles was not hurt.
The Camry driver was cited, where he was given a $30 fine and two points on the driver’s license. The Patrol says that median crossovers on the interstate are for authorized vehicles only.
