(KNOX) –Grand Forks Mayor Brandon Bochenski is still waiting to give an update regarding an important announcement about the future of the Columbia Mall in Grand Forks. Bochenski tells KNOX’s Critical Thought with Noah Chelliah that he still can not say anything about its future, since there is still currently a hold on a bank approving the sale of the mall.
Bochenski did say that the city will not own the mall and that when he is able to make an announcement, he will do so on Critical Thought.
The mall is owned by Chicago-based company GK Development. Bochenski originally said that an announcement about the mall was going to come in July. The Mayor appears on Critical Thought every Tuesday at 9am.
