(KNOX) –Minnesota House Speaker and GOP Gubernatorial Nominee Lisa Demuth held a press conference Tuesday outlining a new plan to handle statewide fraud if she were elected Governor. Demuth mentioned that she worked in the House to create an Office of the Inspector General and that she would use informational technology. She outlined what else she would do.
Demuth also called out her Gubernatorial opponent, U.S. Senator and DFL Nominee Amy Klobuchar. Demuth says Klobuchar hasn’t done anything to combat fraud that has lasted for several years.
Demuth will face Klobuchar in the general election on November 3rd.
