(KNOX) – The Grand Forks City Council approved accepting a $138,250 grant from the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services/Division of Homeland Security. The money will be provided to the fire department and will be used for training and equipment maintenance.
The Council also approved plans for sewer and watermain projects that will be funded by Crary Real Estate. The Grand Valley Second Amendment and Crary’s 13th Addition projects will create improvements to the city’s sanitary sewer, watermain and storm sewer systems. Construction costs are estimated to be more than $500,000.
