(KNOX) – The UND Football team starts a brand new season on August 27th when they host LIU. The Fighting Hawks went 8-6 last year and made it as far as the second round in the FCS Playoffs. Quarterback Jerry Kaminski won the starting job last year, and he proved why he’s the QB1 for the team.
He threw more than 2500 passing yards, 26 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He also had 8 rushing scores and recorded over 600 rushing yards. He also set the school record for most single season touchdowns in the regular season.
