(KNOX/KFGO/KVRR) – North Dakota U.S. District Judge Dan Traynor has been confirmed by the U.S. Senate to serve on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
Traynor was nominated in May by President Donald Trump and Senators John Hoeven and Kevin Cramer announced his nomination to the eighth circuit after Judge Ralph Erickson’s retirement.
Traynor has served as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of North Dakota since 2020. He previously had his own legal practice that involved business litigation, election, insurance, and Indian law.
He is also a graduate of the University of North Dakota school of law.
