Make It Fair MN Wants MSHSL To Create Rules For Eligibility In Girls Sports

(KNOX/Learfield) – The “Make It Fair MN” campaign is urging the Minnesota State High School League to adopt biology-based eligibility rules for girls’ sports. The campaign says the high school league, not the Governor or State Legislature, has the authority to change its bylaws. Organizers are asking the two voting representatives from the 509 member schools in the league to support an amendment requiring students to compete in gender separated sports based on their biological sex at birth. The campaign says its goal is to preserve girls’ athletics and educate the public about how the league bylaw changes are made.
