(KNOX) –A West Fargo man was arrested last Friday for allegedly hurting a person with a knife and then running from police.
The West Fargo Police Department responded to a residence on Starr Avenue. Officials found a victim with a hand injury.
Police say the man tried to run away with the knife. Officers used a taser and pepperball rounds in order to catch him.
The suspect was taken to a hospital for a mental health evaluation. He was also treated for his self-inflicted injuries and the injuries he had while fleeing. The victim was treated for their injuries at the scene and was eventually cleared by a ambulance.
