(KNOX) – The University of North Dakota has received more than $2 million in a grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
A release from Senator Kevin Cramer’s office says the department is giving eight grant awards that will total nearly $5 million. The release says the money will be used for projects involving maternal and child health, mental health services, nursing education and biomedical research in North Dakota.
Sanford Bismarck, North Dakota State University, The Spirit Lake Tribe and Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa also received funding.
