(KNOX) – A 17-year-old teenage girl was airlifted to a Fargo hospital Saturday night after falling off an ATV in Otter Tail County.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash east of Pelican Rapids at 8:26 p.m. Deputies say a 15-year-old male driver lost control of the ATV, veering off the road into a ditch and hitting a tree. Both teenagers were thrown from the vehicle.
The 17-year-old female passenger suffered head, neck, and hip injuries. Her condition has not been released. The 15-year-old male driver was not hurt.
Both teenagers are from Dent, Minnesota, and neither of them were wearing helmets.
