(KNOX) –The North Dakota Highway Patrol says that two impaired drivers were involved in a head-on crash Thursday night just south of Carrington.
A northbound pickup crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a southbound SUV. They were both taken to a hospital and treated for minor injuries.
Later on, both drivers were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Investigators say that each driver had a blood alcohol content that was over .150. They also say one of the drivers was not wearing a seat belt.
