(KNOX) – The North Dakota Game and Fish Department has released the results from its deer gun lottery.
More than 72,000 people applied for a gun license, and the 2026 deer gun proclamation allowed for 39,100 deer gun licenses.
More than 1,200 licenses are left, and those who did not get a license in the lottery can apply for one from July 1 through July 15.
Licenses will be mailed to successful applicants in August.
