(KNOX) – A former UND football coach has once again taken the helm of the University of Jamestown Jimmies.
Tom Dosch, who coached linebackers at UND in 2023 and 2024 under Bubba Schweigert, was named the Jimmie’s head coach this week, after Brian Mistro, the previous caoch, accepted the job of UJ Athletic Director.
Dosch began his head coaching career with the Jimmies. where he compiled a record of 25-17 through four seasons (2004-07). The Jimmies qualified for the NAIA playoffs twice and were ranked as high as No. 6 in 2007. He also coached at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD, where he was named the NSIC Coach of the Year in 2014.
The University of Jamestown recently completed a transition to NCAA Division II athletics.
