(KNOX) – The Grand Forks Royals fell twice in tight games with the West Fargo Patriots Wednesday.
Grand Forks held West Fargo to just four hits in game one, and just 13 on the night, but fell by scores of 1-0 and 6-2 in the opening doubleheader of the year.
The Royals did not score until the top of the seventh in game two, but trailed 6-0 in the matchup.
Grand Forks plays at Fargo Post 400 Thursday.
