(KNOX) – Grand Forks sales tax collections continue to exceed last year’s pace.
The city netted over $2.8 million dollars in May. The majority of the money reflects sales that took place in March. That pushes the year-to-date total to nearly $14.9 million dollars. Total cash collections are up 5.76% over one year ago.
When looking at the 1/4% restaurant-lodging component of the tax the tally is up 1.26% in 2026.
