(KNOX) – Average annual wages in Grand Forks County climbed 2.9% in 2025 according to a new report from North Dakota Job Service. That pushes the average salary to $61,513.
Paychecks climbed in 44 of the state’s 53 counties last year. Oliver County reported the highest annual wages at $96,978. The statewide average was $67,580.
When comparing all 53 counties Grand Forks ranked 19th on the salary scale. Cass county ranked 10th…Burleigh County 13th…and Ward County was 17th on the ranking list.
The report suggests that Mining, and Oil and Gas Extraction reported the highest annual wage of any major industry at $134,775. Retail Trade posted the lowest at $40,464.
