(KNOX) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified a 93 year old man who died in a two vehicle crash in Nelson County on Friday.
Authorities say Leonard Aamot failed to yield to an oncoming vehicle and his car was struck in a T-bone type of collision. The crash occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 2 and Highway 1 around 4:30 p.m.
The driver of the other vehicle was a 41 year old female from Grand Forks. The woman and two juvenile passengers were not injured.
The NDHP says the accident remains under investigation.
