(KNOX) – A Grand Forks man was sentenced to 40 years for committing 15 crimes against a 14-year-old, most sexual in nature, after already pleading guilty to crimes against a different 14-year-old.
Marshawn Howard Wooten, 30, was sentenced in December to 20 years for Class AA felony gross sexual imposition. Court documents stated He was charged with raping a 14-year-old girl.
In his second case, Wooten was charged with and pleaded guilty to 12 counts of Class AA felony gross sexual imposition, Class B felony luring minors by computer, Class C felony possession of certain materials prohibited and Class A misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Wooten was accused of engaging in sexual acts with a different 14-year-old girl, according to court documents. The acts occurred on multiple occasions. He was also accused of possessing sexual video footage of her, soliciting her for sexual acts through Snapchat and providing alcohol to her.
