
(KNOX) – Red River pulled to within two points of the league lead, while Central survived a draw with South, in EDC soccer Tuesday night.
The Roughriders defeated Fargo North 5-1 Tuesday at Cushman field. The win pulled Red River even with West Fargo Sheyenne for second place in the league. Red River has a tiebreaker advantage over Sheyenne in goal differential.
Sheyenne was beaten by Shanley, who leads the league, 4-0. Red River lost, and drew with, Shanley this season.
Central stayed in the hunt for a state tournament spot by drawing with Fargo South on the road 1-1. Central stays in fourth place, two points ahead of South for the final state tournament spot.
