(Spitfires) – GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The Grand Forks Spitfires are excited to announce the signing of local player Brooklyn Hofer from the University of North Dakota, adding a versatile and high-energy playmaker to the roster for the team’s inaugural 2026 season.
With a hometown of Cold Spring, Minnesota, Hofer brings both talent and a strong local connection to Grand Forks. As a current UND student-athlete, her addition is especially exciting for the community, giving fans the chance to watch a familiar face compete at the next level right here at Albrecht Field.
Having a local college player on the roster creates a unique and fun atmosphere, as UND supporters can continue cheering her on throughout the summer in a whole new way.
