(KNOX) – It’s been a long weekend for residents of Finley (ND). The city has been without water service since Friday afternoon due to a loss of pressure in the water distribution system.
The North Dakota Department of Environmental Quality issued a DO NOT USE warning as contaminants may have entered the network. A water main break is the suspected cause. Residents are urged to keep faucets off during testing and repairs.
Once a fix is in place the system is expected to be flushed…and samples tested…before the order is lifted. Finley is located about 48 miles southwest of Grand Forks.
