(KNOX) – Rydell Cars said that the Community Violence Intervention Center, CVIC, an organization dedicated to violence prevention and intervention, has been selected as the beneficiary for the upcoming 20th Annual Rydell Car and Bike Show Charity Event. This event exemplifies Rydell’s commitment to giving back to the Grand Forks community.
100precent of all donations collected during the show are directed to the selected beneficiary, with Rydell Cars matching contributions up to $40,000. Since its inception in 2007, the Rydell Car and Bike Show has raised over $1.2 million for local organizations.
“Rydell’s generosity and willingness to contribute to our holistic approach to ending interpersonal violence through its annual car show will create life-long impacts for not only survivors but future generations,” said President and CEO Coiya Tompkins Inman. “They also work intentionally to engage area neighbors and support the community in a variety of ways year-round. For CVIC and its clients, Rydell is a shining example of the true meaning of community and why community is part of our agency name. The 20th Annual Rydell Car and Bike Show is scheduled for September 20, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The event welcomes all vehicles and attendees of all ages. Whether you have a car, truck, SUV, bike, or tricycle that holds special meaning to you, Rydell encourages your participation.
